Cookie policy
This page explains what cookies are, how we use them and how you can control them. Last updated 12 October 2026
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your phone, tablet or computer when you visit it. They let a website work, remember your choices and, where you agree to it, understand how the website is used. Similar technologies, such as storage in your browser, work in much the same way. On this page, "cookies" means both.
Cookies fall into a few groups.
Strictly necessary cookies. These are needed for the website to work, or for something you have asked for, such as keeping a form secure while you use it. We do not need your consent to set them. You cannot switch them off on our website, though you can block them in your browser, and if you do, parts of the website may not work.
Functional or preference cookies. These remember choices you have made, so that the website works the way you expect when you come back.
Analytics or performance cookies. These help a website's owner see how visitors use it, for example which pages are visited, so that it can be improved. They are not strictly necessary.
Marketing cookies. These are used to show advertising, or to measure how well advertising has worked. They are not strictly necessary.
Some cookies are set by other organisations, not by us. These are called third-party cookies. They can be set when a page includes content from another website, or when you follow a link from our website to another, such as to a messaging service or a marketplace. Those organisations set cookies under their own policies, which we do not control, so please read their policies as well.
You can block or delete cookies and stored items in your browser's settings at any time. The steps depend on your browser, and its help pages explain them. Blocking all cookies may stop some parts of our website from working. If you share a device with other people, your browser settings apply to everyone who uses that browser.
Some cookies last only until you close your browser. These are called session cookies. Others stay on your device for a set time, or until you delete them. These are called persistent cookies. How long a cookie lasts depends on what it is for, and we aim to keep cookies for no longer than their purpose needs.
If you have a question about cookies, or about how we use your information, email us at privacy@vintiqi.com. Our privacy notice says what we do with the information you give us.
