We welcome vintage and antique gold in any condition from 9 to 24 carats. Gold plated jewellery and accessories should be added to the box you send as well.

What does the number on a gold hallmark mean?
The number is the purity mark, and a higher number means purer gold. A piece with no hallmark is still worth sending. Our guide to reading a UK hallmark explains each mark.

Selling gold to us
Is it free to send my gold?
Yes, postage is completely free and your box of gold is covered up to £300 on its way to us.
Can I send just one item?
We only buy boxes containing several items, but if you have just one item you would like us to value, please call us free on 0800 048 8777 first. We will do our best to help.
What if I do not like the offer for my gold?
No problem. There is no obligation to accept and we will return your items free of charge.
What if my gold is damaged in the post?
Your box is protected on its way to us by our parcel cover, up to £300. If it is lost or damaged, email us at hello@vintiqi.com with "Claim" at the top and we will look into it.
Can you collect my gold?
Yes. Contact us to arrange a collection, or use the postage label that comes in your pack.
Can I speak to someone first?

What if my gold is not listed here?
Send it anyway. We look at every item in your box, so the list is a guide, not a limit.

Step 1: Ask for your free pack
Your pack has a postage label, a printed guide to packing, and a slip to put inside your box.
Step 2: Fill it
Put in the items you no longer want. Broken and tangled pieces are welcome.
Step 3: Post it, free
Stick the Parcelforce label from your pack on your box and send it to us, following the instructions on the label.
Step 4: Wait for your offer
We value everything in the box and make one offer within seven days of arrival. Say yes on a working day and we send your payment the same day, once we have your details.
