What we take
Pearls we buy
We take pearls in any condition, loose, strung or set in jewellery. Kinds we take include:
Pearls may be natural, cultured or imitation, and they turn up strung as necklaces and bracelets, worn as earrings and pendants, or loose in a small box. We look at each piece closely, together with the clasp and any metal it is set in. A broken strand is fine, so keep every pearl you can find. Store them in a soft bag or tissue so the surfaces are not scratched, away from harder pieces.
